Your part time IT Director

You have probably heard of an IFA (Independent Financial Adviser) and you probably use one. In the less regulated area of Information Technology there are lots of suppliers to choose from but how do you know which one is right for you? The term "buyer beware" springs to mind, but that is where I can help, rather like IFAs should help with your long term financial planning.

I act like your IT Director. From gaining an understanding of your business I can tell you what "systems" you should have in place. Systems include work flow procedures for your staff to follow as well as appropriate computer software and hardware to improve their and your productivity.

Most business requirements can be met with relatively inexpensive standard software, the landscape is improving all the time. You don't have time to keep abreast of all these changes, but you cannot afford to ignore them.

If you want a part time IT Director, call me for a consultation. You can learn more about what I can offer on my website.

Norfolk New Biz
Norfolk New Biz

Have you recently started a business?

Norfolk New Biz is a networking club just for you.

Norfolk New Biz is a good place to make new friends to:

* Share experiences & support
* Ask for help and advice
* Celebrate your successes

No matter what business you run we all face the same, if not similar, problems:

- Do I need premises? If I do, what do I need to consider?
- Can I write my own terms and conditions or do I need proper legal advice?
- Do I need a business account for my banking?
- What kind of insurance must I have and where do I go to get it?
- Who do I talk to about a website and what do I need?
- Who can help me without trying to make a quick quid out of me?
- Etc, etc. etc!

Friends and family may be able to offer advice but wouldn't it be nice to speak to someone who'd already made the journey? Maybe you have too much advice and you need to plot a clear path through all the sales talk and well-meaning opinions. Whatever your new business questions - we want to help.

Lastly, we all understand that running your own business can be a very lonely experience - especially if you have been used to working with others in an office, shop or production line.

We hold regular meetings in Norwich and Cromer, check out the events page on our website for more information and to book a place.

We hope you'll join us at our next event and look forward to meeting you!
